About the artist

Cuyo means “Light” in Taino and is a one of a kind line of sustainable accessories. Each piece is infused with healing intentions, Radical radiance and celebrates the divine feminine. Tamika Rivera, a Brooklyn based artist and Shamanic Reiki practitioner, with a mission to spread healing through creation is the force behind Cuyo. Inspired by the human experience, nature, and native cultures around the world she is guided to create one of kind modern sacred objects. Her playful approach to design and healing is an expression of the light that is seen in all-living things. Tamika has a private Shamanic Reiki practice, teaches Shape shifting techniques and showcases her sacred objects around the world.
