About the artist

Venetia Dearden grew up in Somerset, England. Having completed a degree in Anthropology at Edinburgh University and a Postgraduate course in photojournalism at the London College of Printing in 2000, she then traveled extensively documenting humanity and our environment. Her work has seen her exhibit in New York, London and Paris, which has also enabled her to publish three highly revered books. It is Dearden’s ability to capture an intimate moment, whilst allowing the viewer to enter the scene, that makes her a highly skilled artist and humble observer.
