About the artist

Renata Abbade has been a stylist, a DJ, and a dancer on tour with the Brazilian band CSS, but since relocating from New York to Los Angeles more than a year ago, the São Paolo–born designer has begun to focus more on house wares and jewelry, inspired by her lush surroundings and influenced by her upbringing in 1980s Brazil. With each new piece Abbade explores the texture and temperament of clay, each piece subject to the whims of the kiln! An incredible macramé artist as well, she incorporates vintage fabrics and ropes and no creations are ever the same.
